Chelsea vs Arsenal LIVE!
Chelsea and Arsenal will battle it out in a Premier League London derby at Stamford Bridge this evening.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are still fighting for success on three fronts, with the Blues in the FA Cup Final, Champions League Final and still seeking to secure a Premier League top-four finish.
As for Arsenal, a disappointing season is meandering to a close after the Gunners missed out on a place in the Europa League Final, and European football looking unlikely given they currently sit ninth in the table.
While Chelsea will be favourites to win tonight at the Bridge, Tuchel has rotated his squad ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup Final against Leicester – and with Mikel Arteta’s team fighting for little more than pride, this could be a real battle.

Just the three right-backs on the bench for Arsenal. England boss Gareth Southgate would be proud of that.
It looks like a back-three, with Bukayo Saka and Kieran Tierney the wing-backs. Mikel Arteta presumably trying to match Chelsea’s formation.20 minutes ago

Arteta sets out Arsenal’s transfer plans
So… how do Arsenal get back to the top? Arteta has hinted at a busy summer transfer window despite the club’s difficult season.
A number of fringe players are expected to depart, with decisions also to be made on whether to offer new deals to the likes of David Luiz and to retain those players returning from loan deals.
“There are so many things to do,” Arteta replied when asked if he expected a big outlay of players coming and going in the summer. “We already have a lot of players on loan, a lot of players with contracts still that we have to sort and it will depend what happens with a lot of those players.
“And what we are able to recruit to improve the team is going to determine where we are. We have been sitting down the whole year, we have been in constant communication, and things will change.
“Some things will stick to the plan that we already have and some other things will come out. But we sit down very, very regularly to talk about those things obviously.”49 minutes ago
Tuchel: Chelsea ‘built to win’
Tuchel arrived at Chelsea having won two French Ligue 1 titles with PSG – including a domestic quadruple – and guided them to their first Champions League final.
While the German admits he may have exceeded expectations in London after replacing Frank Lampard, he insists the belief was always there.
“The club made a change because they maybe felt they needed it but they were convinced by the quality and mentality of the team.
“You need a little bit of luck and momentum and we’ve caught that. We’re in the middle of the race for the top four and reached two finals.
“It wasn’t the demand and the expectation wasn’t to fulfil all categories but nobody told me they didn’t care about these competitions. If you play with Chelsea, you play the competition to win it. This club is built to win games and competitions.” 51 minutes ago
Arteta ‘cannot push’ certain Arsenal players forward
As for Arsenal, Mikel Arteta is under pressure after a poor season – but the manager also claims some of his players did not give their all.
The Gunners only have only a slim chance of playing in the Europa League next season and need to make up a four-point gap with three games left to even qualify for the Europa Conference League, UEFA’s new third-tier competition.
On Tuesday, Arteta was asked if he thought his players had given their maximum this season and he said a “majority of them” had but certain players had not.
When pressed on how he could change that, the Spaniard told reporters: “Finding a different way to do it, challenging them again, putting somebody next to them to try to push them again.”
The Spaniard added that some of his players were unable to develop further.
“Some of them can get to a certain level and you cannot push them any further,” he added. “You want to evolve them but it’s not possible.”https://18b8578b79eba7298f5aa944175ef89e.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html53 minutes ago
Tuchel relishing ‘exciting’ run-in
While Arsenal’s run-in is lacking drama, Chelsea are set for one of the most thrilling season finales of the club’s history.
Thomas Tuchel’s side face Leicester in the FA Cup final on Saturday before meeting Man City in the Champions league title clash on May 29, with tonight’s game also key to their battle for a Premier League top-four finish.
“There are pretty exciting weeks,” Tuchel said on Tuesday. “The biggest? I’m not sure, as I’m not the best at comparing… I’ve had ups and downs and exciting times in my career.
“It’s a tight schedule and a fantastic experience in the last three weeks… so much to fight for. Now it’s the time to take the next step and not just play a final.
“There are a lot of targets… it’s exciting, demanding and sometimes tiring. But it’s the best way to finish a season.”
